We chose the middle blue color to be the base color so the whole palette is based off of that color. There are descriptions below to how we chose the rest of the colors in each color palette. Your future color palettes will not look like these - this just gives us an idea of what you would like the base color to be and how much contrast you would like between the rest of the colors in the palette. Choose 1-2 color palettes that you like.(Required) Monochromatic: uses lightness and darkness to create a subtle transitions based on the base color. Analogous: uses colors that are next to each other. Complementary: gives you two colors with the most contrast by using the base color and the color directly opposite of it. Split Complementary: gives you three colors with high contrast but less tension than the Complementary color palette. Triadic: three different colors that will create a vibrant, yet balanced look.
