I’ve always been interested in people. Their motivations. How they process the world. I love the things that make us unique and different. When I co-founded Formada back in 2018, I did so with the intention of creating a digital marketing agency that was focused on creating a clean environment for all types of thinkers to flourish.
I love building teams. I love meeting business owners. And I love learning how we can combine our strengths to create unique strategies for success.
When I’m not helping people achieve their goals, I’m typically working on a few of my own: I love lifting heavy weights — I got my first pull-up at 45! — spending quality time in Northern Michigan with my loved ones, and binging episodes of Dateline.
Garrett Jackson

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved puzzles — the challenge of taking a jumbled collection of information and finding the patterns, organizing the pieces, making something whole.
I do the same thing with businesses. Meghan and I combined our strengths to create an agency that can plug into other organizations to create unique strategies for growth.
In my free time, you’ll find me reorganizing my vinyl records, devising elaborate scavenger hunts for my kids, and doing my best to wear out my library card.
Natalie Bufton

I love helping businesses tell their story, and I love discovering new ways to get that message in front of people — striking the balance between operational efficiency and creative communication is my sweet spot.
I develop tailor-made content strategies and write original copy for websites, social media, email, white papers — pretty much any medium where your message is critical to the growth and success of your business.
When I’m not turning the written word into the almighty dollar, you’ll find me walking my beloved dog, Benny, being a good Pacific Northerwesterner by learning to enjoy camping (I’m trying!), working toward my goal of reading 50 books in a year, and being the resident scribe for my bar trivia team, Joey Triviani.
David Kerr

I think that good design is the right combination of structure, functionality, user experience, and aesthetics, and my goal is to personalize what that means for each business.
My career in digital marketing — including both print and digital design — has given me a broader perspective on how the quality of design can impact your business. When I create a website for you, it’s beautiful, easy to use, and designed to generate growth.
I am currently striving to become a certified “fun uncle” to my sisters’ children, and also traveling around the world with my wife and exploring the Pacific Northwest with our dog, Dash. My main hobby, however, is adjusting the volume knob on my guitar amp in order to find the line between “loud enough” and “being a good neighbor.” Still looking for that sweet spot.
Nathan Miller

I’ve always been a bit of a mimic. Impressions. Body language. It’s the small details that make us different from everyone else. I think that brands are exactly the same.
Growing up, I consumed more than my daily allowance of television, and I was just as fascinated by the ads as I was the programs themselves. It taught me the nuances of branding, and that insight, paired with my passion for writing, helped me develop skills that have informed my work with countless businesses throughout my career.
Mission statements, brand identities, original copywriting — I’ll help you develop or refine your brand’s unique voice.
I’m still a couch potato at heart, but I’m a trail runner in practice. When I’m not sweating up a hill, I’m probably holding a guitar, a chef’s knife, or my wife’s hand.
Ali Russell

I really like digging into data. I like problem-solving, too. And though I may have missed my calling as a detective, I was destined to have a career in digital marketing.
Paid media can be riddled with problems for businesses, and I’m the sort of person who is always looking for solutions — and solutions always stem from your goals. What does your business want to achieve? What does success look like? I use this info to create something totally unique, whether it’s search engine marketing, social media campaigns, or whatever paid media tactics are best for your specific needs.
While my work is largely digital, my life is pretty analog. I love gardening, adventuring in the outdoors with my husband and son, and working towards our lifelong dream of having a farm full of animals. For now, our three dogs and adopted stray kitty will have to suffice.

Currently, I’m on a mission to evaluate all of our local cafes, which is no small feat given the abundance of coffee in our area. In between caffeine trials, you can find me traveling the world, volunteering at local car rallies, or spending time with my oft-unhinged, orange cat, Eddie.
